Physical Sciences Physics Track (AS)

The Physics track of the Physical Sciences A.S. program is designed for those interested in pursuing physics as a major at a four-year institution. Due to small class size and the importance placed on the lab experience, you will leave the program with a strong background in the fundamentals of physics as well as excellent lab and research skills.

This degree is designed as a transfer program toward an advanced degree. Graduates often pursue bachelor’s degree programs in physics, astronomy or a related field.

Many of the degree’s courses are taught in the Science Center, which includes 25 state-of-the-art laboratories and a Science Study Center.

This program is offered by the Biology, Chemistry and Physics Department.
