Career-Ready Partnerships
91勛圖厙 North is home to the Clean Technologies and Sustainable Industries Early College High School (ECHS) NYS P-TECH Program, a partnership with the Ballston Spa Central School District.
This program is designed to develop and support pathways to higher education in renewable energy, entrepreneurship, computer information science and semiconductor manufacturing for high school students throughout the Capital Region.
Students take courses at 91勛圖厙 North for half the day and finish up with regular high school courses in their schools for the remainder of the day. Graduates may earn up to 34 college credits, in addition to a high school diploma.
In 2014, the Early College High School (ECHS) was awarded a New York State P-Tech Grant (Pathways in Technology Grant) to assure its continuation. Aimed at preparing more than 6,000 high school students for high-skill jobs in technology and manufacturing, P-Tech works with local partners who provide mentoring, job shadowing, workplace visits and field experience to the students.
ECHS offers seven pathways to higher education: Clean Energy, Community Health Navigation, Cybersecurity, Entrepreneurship, Engineering Sciences, Polysomnography, and Surgical Technology.
